Study week in Lisbon for computer science students

Within the framework of the Erasmus+ strategic partnership ParIS, an Intensive Study Programme in Information Security took place from 11 to 15 April 2016 in Lisbon and brought together students from Portugal, Poland and Luxembourg. The ParIS project is an Erasmus+ strategic partnership coordinated by the University of Luxembourg and involving the University of Lisbon's Faculty of Sciences, Warsaw University of Technology and the National Technical University of Ukraine–Kyiv Polytechnic Institute as partners. The aim of the project is to respond to the increasing demand for specialists in the area of security, reliability and trust in information technology by setting up an International Joint Master’s Programme in Information Security between the participating higher education institutions and by organising an annual 5-day Intensive Study Programme in Information Security with the participation of Master students and teaching staff from all the European partner institutions. The 2nd Intensive Study Programme in this framework was organised by the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon and brought together students from Portugal, Poland and Luxembourg and lecturers from those three same countries as well as Ukraine. The programme included lectures and workshops on different aspects of information security, but also some social activities for the students. In parallel, the 4th ParIS transnational consortium meeting also took place in Lisbon on 14th and 15th April, bringing together representatives from all the partner universities.
